Bioware today released Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.10 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The update clocks in at ~1GB and provides an array of changes and updates for multiplayer. The update should begin automatically the next time you load up your Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Mass Effect Andromeda launched on March 21, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. It received backlash from the community for a lack of facial expressions, and a disappointing story amongst other bugs and issues. Rocket Chainsaw reviewed Mass Effect Andromeda giving it just 2.5 stars, calling it a “Mass Effect game that has killed my enthusiasm for the franchise as a whole.

Previous updates have sought to fix issues that the community has addressed, and the game is somewhat proving to be more playable in its current state.

Electronic Arts held their first quarter earnings call today, with the Mass Effect IP only being mentioned three times while other franchises including Battlefield and FIFA were mentioned dozens of times, making future DLC seem very unlikely while the company gears up for its other franchises, including Bioware’s newly announced Anthem.

Check out the full Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.10 details after the drop.

Mass Effect Andromeda Dialogue

Official Mass Effect Andromeda Update 1.10 patch notes:

  • Veteran ranks of characters will only drop after all characters of that rarity have been unlocked to rank 10.
  • Naladen explosion now deals damage when Cryo or Incendiary Ammo are equipped.
  • Fixed issue where Dwindling Supplies and Empty Resupply mission modifiers would not function correctly if a player left the game.
  • Dhan shotgun now properly primes enemies.
  • Fixed issue where Bulwark, Siphon, and Concussive variants of pistols and sniper rifles would prime enemies too slowly when using special ammo.
  • Fixed issue where using Supply Pack Transmitter would reduce spare ammo if Empty Resupply mission modifier was active.
  • Using First Aid with Supply Pack Transmitter no longer heals enemies.
  • Fixed issue that caused screen to blink red/yellow when using Siphon and Bulwark weapons.
  • Rank XIV Common Characters are no longer displayed as Rank XV

Twenty years ago, the most visually impressive game on the original PlayStation was the very first Gran Turismo. While adorably low-resolution by today’s standards, at the time I can remember being floored by the realism not only in its car and track detail, but its handling as well. Simulation racers have become known as yardsticks by which the realism of generations of video games are measured, as games like Gran Turismo 4 and Forza Motorsport 6 raised the bar higher and higher. Now with Project CARS 2, developers Slightly Mad Studios are making the gap between the virtual r...

Miitopia is a new addition to Nintendo’s line of games featuring its Mii avatars. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who’s never made a Mii before, whether on their own console or playing Wii Sports on the family Wii over a decade ago (feel old yet?). Most recently on the 3DS, the Miis appeared in Tomodachi Life, which offered the opportunity to put the Miis of real and fictional people into hilarious and unexpected situations together; Miitopia follows on from this. Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to put four of your best friends together as characters in an RPG? Perhaps e...

With a little more than two weeks to go until Destiny 2 launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, PC fans who already pre-ordered the game whether via a graphics card promotion or other means were left in the dark with the game appearing in their Battle.net account page but not on the Blizzard App. PC fans should worry no more. As of today, the game is now officially listed under a new sub-heading “Activision”, the game’s publishers. The game is only on display and definitely not able to be downloaded just yet, however with the beta less than two weeks away, we will presumably...

“Crackdown 3 delayed to 2018″ was not the headline Rocket Chainsaw was expecting to read today coming out of Microsoft, however it was not really all that surprising. What was meant to be one of Microsoft’s token holiday games and a solid launch title for the Xbox One X has just been confirmed to be pushed back to the second quarter of next year. Originally announced in 2014, Crackdown 3 continues its worrisome developmental path with inconsistencies and broken promises aplenty. Its latest showing at E3 2017 was disastrous and one can only suspect that the developers and pu...

When LawBreakers was originally announced as the first game from new studio Boss Key Productions, Rocket Chainsaw was very excited to see how the game would fit in to the saturated market of online shooters. LawBreakers (previously known as BlueStreak) was possibly going to be a free-to-play game, however the heads at Boss Key Developments changed their minds in the final months before release and announced it would be $29.99USD exclusively on Steam with no DLC and no pay to win upgrades. Understandably LawBreakers has jumped through some tough developmental hurdles to be what it is today, and...
