We’ve maintained for a while now that MS and Sony are working towards a 2020 release for their next gen consoles, and suddenly Sony have dropped some details. Sitting down with Wired, Mark Cerny outlined a lot of the hardware specs of the new system, which is based on AMD architecture again, including info about the CPU and GPU. The biggest change seems to be the use of an SSD, with Cerny demoing Spiderman on both a PS4 Pro and a dev unit for the new system, which appears to remove some 14 seconds off the fast travel load time.
