Game On 2014 Announced

GameOnLogoThe team behind Silicon Sports have announced their first major event, Game On 2014. The event which is slated for the 8th of March will feature grand finals for League of Legends, Dota 2 and Starcraft 2 as well as showing off local indie games. The venue will be in Richmond, Melbourne and will be licensed so you must be 18+ or with a parent or guardian in order to attend.

For anyone keen on watching or participating in the qualifiers, those dates are as follows:

  • League of Legends: 1st and 2nd of February
  • Starcraft 2 – 8th and 9th of February
  • Dota 2: 15th and 16th of February

Tickets to the main event are also available now, with prize pools of $1500+ for Dota and LoL as well as $1000+ for SC2 the competition is sure to be fierce. The personalities and casters that are confirmed so far are Zee ‘JiNxXx‘ Kotwal, Leigh ‘Maynarde‘ Mandalov, Helen ‘Zepph‘ Browitt, Lily ‘Lilypie‘ Collins and Mackenzie ‘Alicifer‘ Baskerville.
